Tina von Holstein, born in Berlin/Germany, moved 1994 to England, first to Cornwall and lives now in Devon. .
Like most teenagers of her age she had been involved with horses, learned vaulting and horse riding and owned a Connemara, called Hans.
Becoming a mother of twins a few years later, not only did she have to take a break from her interest for all equine animals but also had to stop her veterinary studies. A few years later Tina and her Hovawart bitch absolved a course in Rescue & Search Training but moved with her children shortly after to England. .
Here she became a Firefigher with the Devon Fire & Rescue Service. Since 2006 she re-discovered her love for horses and donkeys and took part in several courses at the Sidmouth located Donkey Sanctuary. .
In 2009, Tina decided to set up a website for donkey lovers in which people are able to get in contact with other donkey interested people, find donkey breeders, businesses and other related organisations.
