Walk with Donkeys (South East Crete)

Walk with Donkeys’ is a small sanctuary for unwanted donkeys in South East Crete run by Alistair and Suzanne. 
We try to raise money for the care of the donkeys by offering people the opportunity to meet these wonderful creatures. People from all over the world visit us for picnic walks, children’s rides or just to see the donkeys. It is not unusual for people to return year after year, and even day after day.

Dharma Donkey Sanctuary (India)

The Dharma Donkey Sanctuary is situated in the village Sagroli, Maharashtra, where donkeys are still a primary means of transport. Donkeys are the most useful but the most neglected animal in the area. More than 5000 donkeys in the area are engaged in human service in different ways. Farmers rely on donkeys for transporting farm produce, fertilizers and other materials from village to the farm, and they are even used in construction work for transporting sand, bricks, and soil.

We have a free 24/7 rescue service which undertakes rescues of animals injured in road traffic accidents and respond to call outs from the Guardia Civil Traffico and SEPRONA (animal and environmental welfare unit) local police forces, town halls and the public, and cover the whole of the province of Malaga.
